Gen. Hun Manet Reminds District and Commune Leaders to Serve their People

PHNOM PENH: Cambodian Youth Party President and Deputy Chairman of the Phnom Penh Working Group, Gen. Hun Manet, asked leaders and members of the CPP committees in Phnom Penh’s communes and districts to continue their efforts to serve the local people in order to honor their responsibility to the people.

Presiding over a meeting with a CPP committee of 14 districts and another committee overseeing 105 communes in Phnom Penh on May 8, Gen. Hun Manet stressed that the continued efforts to serve the people are needed to maintain the victory of the Cambodian People's Party, which promises to ensure peace, stability, happiness and prosperity for the people, who have been the backbone of the party from the beginning.

He went on to express his appreciation to all the leaders and members of the communal and district party committees for their active participation in serving the local people on a regular basis, especially during the Covid-19 crisis, which highlighted the connection between officials and those they serve.

He also expressed his gratitude to the leaders and members of the Capital Party Committee and all subordinate organizations that have contributed to the task of organizing the 32nd SEA Games and 12th ASEAN Para Games in Phnom Penh, which have been running smoothly since the historic opening ceremony on May 5.
